Brenda S. Smith is the author of The Best Kept Secrets for Winning Scholarships, published in 2003. She has directly advised over a dozen students how to win over $100,000 in scholarships. Through workshops and TV appearances, she has helped countless others. Every year, she organizes the American Spirit Publishing Portrait of America Scholarship, which has awarded over $8,000 in scholarships since 2003.
When not helping students win scholarships, she enjoys cruising the town with her husband Tommy in their classic Volkswagens and spending time with their kids and grandkids.
